We support migrant youth to adapt and settle in Korean society.

The purpose of Rainbow School is to provide the programs for the basic information of Korean society, language education, social relation improvement and Psycho-emotional support and to support the adaptation and settlement through application for transfer, career guidance as regular curriculum.
We support the adaptation and settlement of migrant youth in the Korean society.

Rainbow School helps the stable settlement in Korean society and the growth as global resources by providing the customized education that fits the characteristics of migrant youth.

후기 이주배경청소년 지원 프로그램은 만 19~24세 이하 연령의 후기 이주배경청소년의
발달단계와 역할변화를 고려하여 맞춤형 교육 및 지원을 통해 필요한 정보를 제공하고,
진학, 취업, 병역 등 먼저 경험한 선배지원가와의 조력관계를 형성하여
안정적인 사회진입을 도모하고자 합니다.

Intensive program for migrant youth

This program is an intensive program supporting migrant youth (Adolescents from multicultural families, North Korean defector Youth, and mid-immigrant adolescents) who hopes to enter the society.

It aims to improve the social adaptation ability and enhance the independency will by providing various site job education that considers
the characteristics of migrant youth and provides the chance that can experience the professional contents, and the participation
in the systematized career support program enables nuturing the basic knowledge, regular life attitude and preparing the employment.

Contents of education include Job Korean language education, job training, preparing acquisition of certificate, career knowledge education,
and any migrant youth from 16 ~ 24 years who suffer from entering the society due to lack of Korean language ability,
job technology and information can participate in. It has been now operated in Nationwide 5 institutions since 2013.
in the category of North Korean Defector Youth, and provides the educational support based on this.

‘이주배경청소년을 위한 대학 진학 가이드북’은 이주배경청소년에게 대학 진학에 대한 기초 정보를 제공하는 것을 목표로 제작되었습니다.
총 3개의 언어(중국어, 러시아어, 베트남어)로 번역되어 있으며, 가이드북을 통해 대학 입학 절차 및 주요 전형, 대학 입학 수기 등을 확인할 수 있습니다.

North Korean defector youth program “Social adjustment program”

‘Comparative Cultural Experience Learning’ is conducted for 2 days and 1 night for North Korean defectors youth belonging to Hanawon Hanadul School.

The program consists of experiences needed in the actual life such as basic and economic life experience, public transportation use, the confidence,
exploring the educational institute, and culture experience. Seniors supports them to solve the anxiety on the settlement and to have
and we are supporting the understanding of South Korean society of North Korean defector youth and their smooth settlement in the local community through this.

'First step for the future' targeting North Korean defector youth learns the healthy knowledge (sex, human right, career and health) needed for the settlement
in the local community, and intends to promote the healthy growth by providing the chance to share the culture.
Along with this, it identifies their desire and features, and conducts the customized service support and follow-up management for their stable settlement.
